Baskets from the Bunny!

We were so excited the Easter Bunny came to the Crudups this year!

Claire loved her little basket!

AND loved the grass that came in it!

We could not believe the Easter Bunny stopped by Big Daddy and LaLa's too!
And left this ADORABLE little wagon for Claire!

How cute is this!

The sweet little flowers spelled out Claire's name and the wagon was overflowing with goodies for our baby girl!

We went through each and every thing in the wagon one by one...Claire LOVED it all!

Sadie, of course, had to get in on the action too!

Love, love, love my sweet baby!
What a fabulous first Easter with our precious darling!
Thank you Easter Bunny!!!

Happy Easter!

Our Easter celebration took place over the entire weekend and I loved every second of it! Something about holidays changes when you have a child, every moment is precious and every event is something to celebrate!

Smiling from ear to ear with Grammy and Papa!
Claire and I spent the day with my parents the Saturday before Easter!
We had such a yummy lunch at Terra in Fort Worth and spent the afternoon on the patio at our house!

Hanging out with uncle Bennett is always fun!!!
Ok, maybe not as fun as the Wheat Thins box on the table that Claire became obsessed with!

Sunday we had our first road trip with Claire!
We went to Durant, OK to visit Clay's grandparents.
Uncle Brad held Claire for the first time! (It only took 6 months!)

Claire has started throwing her head back when she laughs!
So funny! Love our silly little girl!

Baby girl with her Momu!
Claire was not a fan of the road trip,
but we were so glad to spend time with Clay's grandmother.
She has been very ill and I know it meant a lot to her to see baby girl!

This precious darling melts her mommy's heart!

Sunday evening Big Daddy and LaLa stopped by to see Claire on her first Easter!
I adore how they shower her with attention! Claire is so LOVED!!!

SURPRISE!!!

This year I threw my amazing husband, Clay, a surprise party for his 30th birthday! First, I CANNOT believe I actually pulled it off and surprised him! Second, I will NEVER throw him a surprise party again! As much fun as I had planning his party, it was sooo stressful keeping everything from him! I am horrible at keeping things from Clay, especially something I'm so excited about!
I told Clay we were going to dinner at Joe T. Garcia's (his favorite mexican restaurant) with a small group of friends for his birthday. His first surprise of the night was the limousine waiting in our driveway to take us to dinner. Birthday boy was thrilled he didn't have to worry about enjoying his favorite margarita and driving home! I had the help of a Joe T.'s employee to get him to the Puertita, which is actually a huge party room next to the restaurant! When Clay opened the doors to the Puertita he was greeted with a huge SURPRISE from family and friends!
All the planning and hard work was well worth it! I absolutely LOVE that I got to celebrate the most important person in my life with all of our friends and family! I am very appreciative of everyone that came, especially those that came from out of town! I could not be more thankful to share my life with such an incredible man! He is such a wonderful husband and adoring father, and I look forward to planning many more (non-surprise!) birthday parties!

Guests wrote sweet messages to the birthday boy as they arrived!

I had the invitation (front and back) at the entrance of the party so Clay could see it!

I ADORE this picture of Clay and Claire I had blown up for the party!

So appreciative to everyone who came!

Turquoise and lime green jelly bellies added some decoration.
Matching napkins with Clay's initials and No. 30.

My little brother and me!
So glad he could come in town for the occasion!

Centerpieces on each table had different pictures of the birthday boy over the last 30 years!

Ummm...I don't know if Clay blinked when we took this pic or if he was showing us his margarita smile!
Either way, the birthday boy was having a great time!
PARTY PICS...

Sooo Surprised!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAY!!!

6 Months!

Our sweetest baby girl is half a year old! Claire continues to be life's greatest blessing to us and I absolutely cherish my little family of three!

My Favorites!
Everyday is something new with little miss Claire! Here are some of my favorite new things...
Holds our faces with both hands and kisses us! (A little sloppy, but probably the best feeling in the whole world)
Sits up on her own
Reaches her arms up for me to pick her up (I melt when she does this, of course)
Eating food, but not loving it (tolerates rice cereal, oatmeal, squash, and peas the best)
Loves anything with a tag on it or if a toy has a tag she is more fascinated with the tag than the toy
Slowly phasing out her mid day nap
Babbling all the time...mamamamama...dadadadada...bababababa
