Happy Birthday Clay!

Clay's office threw a little lunch birthday party on his 30th so Claire and I stopped by to celebrate the birthday boy!

Big Daddy met us at the door!
He couldn't get baby girl in his arms fast enough!
Aunt Hillary put Claire to work right away!

What is that crazy thing?!?!

Look at this crazy thing mom!

They decorated Clay's office! So cute!

Claire was so excited about this balloon!

Oink! Oink!

Claire got her first taste of rice cereal and LOVED it! She was shaking her arms with excitement and grabbing for the spoon as I was trying to aim as best as I could for her mouth! We had to pry her little hands from the spoon to get more and as soon as she noticed the bowl she tried to grab for it as well! Clay and I had so much fun and could not stop laughing at our little piggy! And don't worry, these first time parents made sure the monumental occasion was well documented! Clay took video on the Flip-It and iPhones and captured pictures on my big camera and both phones as well! Ha! Video to come, but here are some pictures Clay got...
Making a grab for the spoon!!!

I don't know if Claire was smiling because she liked the rice cereal or because Clay and I were laughing so hard!

Love our little piggy!

I want MORE!!!

Sunday Funday!

What a fun time we had at Big Daddy and LaLa's this evening! Clay went over to his parent's in the afternoon to watch the final round of the Masters with his dad, then Claire and I met up with everyone after her nap. Claire was showered with attention from her Big Daddy, LaLa, Aunt Kaki, Aunt Hill and soon-to-be Uncle John. My little darling loved every second of it! We enjoyed a great meal from the grill and Claire even got in on the action with her first tastes of watermelon and pineapple! Her first lick of pineapple actually made her shutter it was so sweet! Such a great way to end our weekend!
So sad, no one would pay any attention to poor Claire!

Loves her Aunt Hill!

Daddy's little girl!

My darling!

Not sure what to think about her first taste of watermelon!

Ready for more!!!
Being entertained by her grandparents!

Poor baby was wiped out from all the fun!

When the Parents are Away...

The Babysitters will Play...

My parents stayed with Claire while Clay and I went out to celebrate our dear friend Lindsey's 30th birthday. As they were leaving that night they told me they had taken some pictures of Claire while we were out. These are what I found!!!

Not sure Claire was having as much fun as they were! Ha!

Loves to stay with her Papa and Grammy!

We got a quick family pic before Clay and I went out for the night...
I ADORE my little family of three!

Meet Mia Marie...

Last night Clay and I finally got to meet beautiful Mia Marie! This sweet baby girl was born only two weeks ago but we have been counting down the days til her arrival! Mia is gorgeous, just as we knew she would be, and Kelsey and Andrew are wonderful parents, just as we knew they would be! Mommy and daddy are enjoying such a blissful time with their healthy newborn baby girl.
Clay and I loved holding Mia (actually I was a baby hog and held her the whole time!) and remembering how small baby Claire was when we brought her home. It made me a little sad to think how fast Claire has grown! Time really does fly when you're having fun!
